The Sonnenhof Zella-Mehlis offers holiday homes & guest rooms at affordable prices in the famous „Thuringian Forest“ region for up to 8 people.

The Sonnenhof is located on the highest inhabited place in the city of Zella-Mehlis - on the Zellaer Höh. Next to the guest house begins the Thuringian Forest with its beautiful hiking trails. The famous "Rennsteig" is close.

Apartment for 2-3 guests:
The apartment comfortably accomodates 2 people in 1 bedroom with a double bed. Then there is a bathroom with a shower, balcony and large living room. In the cozy living room there is a couch, an armchair and a TV. The living room also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a microwave. The balcony is equipped with furniture.
The holiday flat also offers WIFI, a radio and curtains.
There is space for a foldaway bed in the living room. This option suits best for smaller and lighter people. If you wish a more comfortable option for the 3rd person, please ask for the extra single room.

Apartment for max. 5 people:
This apartment suits 4 people in 2 sleeping rooms (dobule beds). It helds a bathroom with tub and toilet, hall and lounge. In the lounge there is a fully equipped kitchen, cushioned seating area, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and satellite TV.
The holiday flat also offers WIFI, a radio and curtains.
There is space for a foldaway bed in a sleeping room. This option suits best for smaller and lighter people. If you wish a more comfortable option for the 5th person, please ask for the extra single room.

Single room:
The single room comes with its own bathroom, furniture and a TV. You can combine the single room with both apartments.
If you wish the extra single room with its own bathroom for the 3rd person, please tell me in advance. This extra room costs another 10 € per night (payable on site).

We rent various games, mountain bikes and toboggans for free. Also badminton and balls.
